Drying air heated upto 600°C is used. Normally twin cyclone separator is used for fine separation. Exhaust air can be scrubbed in wet scrubber. Capacity range basis from 20 TPD to 500 TPD on product.
Oxides Ceramics (Technical Ceramic) Spray Drying is used for producing ceramics oxides. The process involves spraying of feed material in the drying chamber containing air at 300-500oC temperature. The air and feed pattern is of mixed flow type. Rotary atomisor and spray nozzles can be incorporated in the system.
